Moving on up!

I am officially moving my apparel and accessories to heckyesyall.com!

I'm sure you've heard about all the ridiculous fees that come with being a seller on Etsy. That alone is reason enough for me to move along. I will continue to list two to three of my best selling products but everything else will go on heckyesyall.com.

Truth be told, I've been trying to "crack the case" as to how to reach true, die hard Golden Girls fans since Day 1.

A visual aide:

This incredibly unique group of people who love the show as much as I do vary in a number of intersecting identity pieces:

  • Age

  • Economic class

  • Sexual orientation

  • Ethnicity

  • Gender identity

  • Race

  • Other related interests

So many people find comfort in The Golden Girls that it feels almost impossible to reach all of them unless I try marketing to every niche that make up this niche.

At craft fairs I only luck out if a huge Golden Girls fan happens to pass my booth. I have yet to vend at one and it yield enough success to justify the work I put into preparation.

Going to Golden-Con really sealed the deal for me; I can only really expect to reach this audience if they are all gathered together at an event like this where I can come to them (..and then of course they come to my booth.)

On Etsy, people may find me but I am competing with other shops and a majority of folks are looking for the more generic references.

As a die hard Golden Girls fan I know that if I really want Golden Girls apparel, I will search for it. Hopefully, my fellow ‘die harders’ will too.

With heaps of warmth, gratitude and gusto,

H
